IIIDScan PrimeSense is a full-color 3D scanner based on infrared lighting technology. It provides a good 3D point accuracy of up to 0.5 mm and a point to point distance from 0,5 to 5 mm. It is equipped with a fixed-lens, texture camera with a 3-6 mm focal length. It allows focusing on an object excluding the background. The sensor lets you capture quality images at a quick speed. The camera supports two different resolution: 640 x 480 and 320 x 480 pixels.

The Creaform HandySCAN 700 is a professional handheld 3D scanner made by Creaform, a leading manufacturer from Canada.
This portable 3D scanner uses laser triangulation technology to 3D scan a wide variety of mechanical parts, mockups, and prototypes. It casts 7 red laser crosses in “Cross grid” mode, and a single red laser beam in “Single beam” mode to capture complex details and deep pockets.
We reviewed the HandySCAN 700 in 2016. Creaform has continued updating their lineup since then, and re-launched this 3D scanner under the new, more affordable SILVER Series.
